In his recent travels through the west John Dickson, DWS Chairman, was able to take time to visit the Longreach RSL Memorial Services Club where he caught up with the amazing ladies that run the club.
The club has a rich history of providing a great meeting place for their community where they are known for their cold beer and good food. Although a small venue by city comparisons, the RSL operates a great Bistro called BB’s as well as gaming and keno facilities.
Chantelle Smith, the General Manager/Nominee, has worked at the Longreach RSL for over 19 years and has taken on the role again as of May this year. Along with Chantelle, the other members of the Management Team include Billie-Jo Deighton and Casie Haywood, both Supervisors.
