Anti-Money Laundering & CTF – Open for Public Consultation

AUSTRAC has made amendments to Chapter 4 of the AML/CTF Rules and is currently open for public consultation form 10 June to 8 July 2015.

This includes the provision of a further version of the electronic safe harbour procedure for customers, broadens the collection of identification information from sources other than the customer and extends current customer identification exemptions to include beneficial owners and politically exposed persons.
