City Golf Club, renowned for its diverse offerings beyond golf, including a motel and significant renovations planned throughout 2025/2026, has embarked on a strategic review of its management structure to support this ongoing expansion. This review, conducted by John Dickson from DWS, resulted in the appointment of Andrew Hinton as the new Club Manager and Karin Hunter as the Group HR Manager.

Hinton brings a wealth of experience to the role, having successfully managed various establishments for the ALH Group in the Queensland hospitality sector. Most recently, he served as Venue Manager at the Blue Mountain Hotel in Harlaxton (north of Toowoomba), where he played a key role in the venue being awarded “Best Regional Bar” in the 2024 QHA Awards for Excellence.

His previous roles have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting local communities, with his venues collectively contributing tens of thousands of dollars to various community initiatives.

Ms. Hunter brings a wealth of experience to this role, having successfully managed human resources for up to one thousand employees during her eight-year tenure as HR Manager at The Ville Resort-Casino.

With exciting new renovations and projects planned for 2025 and 2026, City Golf Club is well-positioned for continued growth and success.
