DWS have the skills and capabilities to significantly improve the value of freehold land. This may be appropriate in the case of the need for an improved balance sheet valuation, preparation of land for sale or further improvement of the site to increase revenues. The following elements are incorporated into our approach:

  • Initial assessment undertaken by discussing the requirements with our clients, determining the desired outcomes and undertaking a comprehensive analysis of the subject site or business case.
  • Discussions held with the local council in order to ascertain development restrictions.
  • Project manage a concept plan for the site that ultimately culminates in outline development approval that can add significant value to a site.
  • Our clients may wish to proceed with the development and retain the freehold interest or put the land to the open market for sale.

Planning for such an undertaking is a medium term project that will likely take a minimum of up to one year and up to three years depending on the site characteristics. DWS have strong ties within the property development sector and can leverage these contacts to produce a site concept that adds significant value.
