We are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to manage the compliance risks of our RTO.
About Us:
CTA Training Specialists (Club Training Australia) has been established for over 25 years and is a Brisbane based RTO that delivers a range of hospitality vocational courses. We are a Preferred Qualified Supplier under the Queensland Government funding arrangement to provide subsidised training to applicable learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, train and maintain the Quality Management System
- Develop, review and maintain all other resources such as enrolment forms
- Maintain and implement continuous improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements
- Monitor the RTO’s compliance within the VET Quality Framework
- Communicate and implement any changes to regulatory requirements with other staff members
- Plan, schedule and either conduct or oversee:
- Internal audits
- Course reviews
- Assessment validation; and
- Marketing reviews (including website and social media)
- Maintain trainer qualification register
- Manage RTO scope of registration
- Submit any required applications to ASQA
- Submit required data reports including:
- Total VET Activity Reporting
- Quality Indicator Reporting; and
- Assisting senior management to complete the Annual Declaration on Compliance
- Conduct regular audits on third party organisations operating under a partnership agreement with
- Directly lead, coordinate and supervise administration staff and provide support to the wider team when required
- Assist in the recruitment of team members within your area of responsibility, including the interviewing, assessing and training of new employees
Other potential responsibilities
- Liaising with regulators to ensure we meet our ongoing training and assessment requirements
- Reviewing and updating website
- Maintaining and updating background configuration of student management system (JobReady)
- Maintaining and updating course resource library and staff intranet
- Liaise with software providers to improve our administrative procedures
- Maintain version control of documents
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Solutions-driven and the ability to identify an issue and be central to the solution
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role in compliance or quality assurance role in an RTO environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Able to work in multi-disciplined teams in a reliable and highly professional manner
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Independent research skills
- Excellent computer skills with an advanced level proficiency in creating documents, marketing materials, editing and publishing
- Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft Office packages (Word and Excel) as a minimum
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- High level of integrity and strong moral principles
