Justine’s Take on October Results

October has been a strong month for gaming, with a notable 11.1% increase (MW) in Queensland and growth across every LGA in the state. While finances remain tight, many gaming patrons have adjusted their budgets to manage higher living costs. However, some venues are still seeing the impact of financial pressures on food and beverage sales.

Last October, many patrons began their Christmas shopping early to spread costs through the end of the year, leading to a decline in disposable income spent in clubs. This year, though, the recent growth in gaming revenue is a positive indicator of a strong summer ahead.

Now is a good time to consider making a few game changes before the holiday rush. Conversions tend to be quicker than new machine installations at this point in the year. Some of the top-performing games in the market right now include:

  • Ainsworth (A-Star)Year of the Dragon and the new Dig’n for Dollars
  • Aristocrat (Mars X)Jackpot Carnival Deluxe Link, Diamond Age Link, and Cash Spark
  • IGT (Peak)Balloon Link and Balloon Loot
  • Konami (Dimension) – The new Fortune Hearts, Bull Rush, and Kpow Pig
  • Light & WonderJewel of the Dragon Link and SAP games

Giving your gaming floor a final boost with fresh games before the busy season can help you stay ahead of competitors, ensuring there’s something exciting for customers to enjoy this summer
