Share Post:

Following a delay due to COVID the new Burpengary Community Club is finally emerging out of the ground.  With construction by the Comiskey Group, the new club is in a prime location adjoining the Station Village Shopping Center, a new development which will serve as a shopping, food, and entertainment precinct.  Access for potential patrons in surrounding suburbs and further away is made easy, as the club is located directly opposite Burpengary Train Station which is part of the Caboolture, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Rosewood lines.

The Club will be comprised of comprised of 2,000m2 of indoor space and approximately 500m2 of outdoor area, and has a clear vision of providing patrons with a modern, family friendly venue.  It has been designed to be in keeping with the amenity and character of the local area while also retaining the feel and atmosphere of its sister club, Hervey Bay RSL.  Club management is looking forward to supporting the welfare and healthy lifestyle of the local community through the sponsorship of local sporting teams and charities in an area that is currently under served.

The Burpengary Community Club is only the second to be constructed on a greenfield site in Queensland, the first being North Lakes Sports Club which was developed by Caboolture Sports Group.  If all goes to plan the club is due for completion and opening in early 2021.
