An award-winning community club with a strong financial performance and stable professional board, Club Helensvale is seeking an energetic entrepreneurial manager with exceptional organisational and administrator skills to drive new business opportunities.
The Club has developed a Strategic Plan for Lawn Bowls setting out an ambitious and aggressive approach to the development of the sports operations. With two established sports coordinators employed to run the day-to-day bowls activities, the Sports Operations Manager would be tasked with overseeing the coordinators and working closely with the Club’s marketing and management teams.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to work with and for Boards and Committees
- The enthusiasm to implement the strategic plan
- Be highly organised
- Computer and technology literate
- Excellent administrative and communication skills
The successful applicant will be part of the club management team and will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the entire club business, with opportunities for possible career advancement in hospitality or sport management.
